I first came across The Real Estate Negotiation Institute when I was doing research to write negotiation courses for REALTORS® in Canada. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the material and flew down to experience the courses first hand.  Having been a top producing REALTOR® for 25 years, I was amazed at how relevant, accurate and powerful the course material was and knew that teaching these courses would be much more valuable to my students than anything I could write.  This is the material you need to learn, understand and use in your day to day business to obtain better results for you and for your clients.  We are paid negotiators and this means we have a responsibility to be excellent at it.

I have over three decades of experience in real estate. First, as a highly productive real estate agent in the competitive market of central Toronto, then as a coach, trainer and the founder of The Nature of Real Estate.  

I am a prolific blogger, a spirited speaker and a disrupter of all things real estate.  I am part of an eclectic tribe of awesome realtors who know that being excellent at what they do will always matter more than prospecting for clients because when you are really good, the clients come to you. 

I am passionate about our natural world and anything the propels me into the wilderness and allows me to stretch my limits is game on.    I am on international level sailor, was a national level adventure racer, a marathon runner and a mountain bike racer.  I have paddled many of the iconic rivers of Canada, kayaked most of the beautiful and rugged West Coast and sailed across the Oceans. 

These remarkable experiences support my perspective that anything is possible and this helps me guide my team, my clients and my negotiation students towards excellence.

I am grateful for the opportunity to work closely with many of the top REALTORS® and real estate teams in Canada and these experiences feed my knowledge and understanding of our remarkable and ever-changing industry known as Real Estate.
