About Me

I became an instructor for RENI because of my passion for the real estate industry as well as a desire to help other agents become better at their craft. Negotiating is so instrumental in our ability to provide excellent service and demonstrate value to our customers and clients.

I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1993, and have been involved in over 3,500 real estate transactions up to this point in my career. I started in Arizona, where I spent most of my life, and then relocated to beautiful Southern California in 2008, where I co-founded Team Echo Real Estate. We primarily focus on distressed properties, remodel projects and the real estate investor market.

Between 2010 and 2015, I had the privilege and honor of working as a national speaker and instructor for both short sales (CDPE) as well as the investor market (CIAS). Since 2016, I have been blessed to be an instructor for The Real Estate Negotiation Institute.

Most recently, I have co-authored and co-founded an exciting new real estate agent training class called the Property Valuation Specialist (PVS) designation course. With this new training, tools and information, real estate agents can be better prepared to do high-level property valuations for their clients.

I have an amazing family that includes my wife and business partner, Tammy Faecher, who has been in real estate since 1996. Our four young adults, ages 21 to 25, are all in college between Baltimore MD and Portland OR. We also enjoy our three spoiled dogs, Cinnamon, Zoula, and Sophie. Life is good!
